Financial Accountant 

On behalf of her client, a leading digital marketing company specialized in iGaming and betting, is looking for a talented financial accountant. 

Our client is one of the most successful marketing companies, owning the leading Greek iGaming Affiliate Network with 50+ sites (e.g., Foxbet.gr, Sentragoal.gr, Foxcasino.gr, Bookmakers.gr) for online sports betting and casino, with expertise in:

• Affiliate Marketing
• Content Marketing
• SEO
• Video Content Performance

As the Financial Accountant you will have to handle the treasury, the management reporting and analysis for the Group business and assist the accounting process.

Your main responsibilities will include: 

Treasury/Transactions:

• Implement and manage the payments of Accounts Payable
• Implement and manage the collection of Accounts Receivable and do the necessary communications
• Implement and manage weekly and monthly cash flow, ageing and DSO reporting

Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare monthly management PnL reports per business and project
• Implement and manage reporting to aid business decision making
• Compare actual results with budgets and forecasts and analyze and report on variances
• Maintain transaction cost records to the best extent possible and constantly update the same

Accounting:

• Implement and manage the proper invoicing of the Group
• Coordinating accounting functions and programs, processes and systems, encompassing accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), financial reporting, and other critical financial functions
• Coordinate with the external tax – accounting consultant that supports the Group (double entry bookkeeping)
• Implement and manage the B’ Category accounting and tax functions of the Group and for third-party freelancers
• Accounting reconciliations wherever required and reviewed with an analytical perspective
• Perform other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned

The most suitable candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• 5+ years of experience treasury and reporting, ideally within a tech or gaming company
• Excellent excel skills
• Experience in working with Epsilon software
• Fluent Greek and excellent English both written and verbal.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
